Design Coordinator (Agency–Client Liaison)
Role Overview
The Design Coordinator acts as the key communication bridge between the client and the creative agency, ensuring clarity, consistency, and efficiency throughout the design and brand execution process. This role requires strong coordination skills, an eye for design quality, and the ability to translate client feedback into actionable creative direction.
The ideal candidate understands both creative processes and client expectations, enabling smooth project flow, timely approvals, and high-quality brand outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Agency Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the design/branding agency.
- Clearly communicate client requirements, feedback, and expectations to creative teams.
- Translate creative concepts into language that aligns with business and brand objectives.
- Manage approvals, revisions, and final sign-offs efficiently.
Design & Brand Oversight
- Ensure all creative outputs align with approved brand identity and guidelines.
- Review designs for accuracy, quality, consistency, and brand alignment before client presentation.
- Support brand rollouts, refreshes, and campaign executions.
- Flag inconsistencies or gaps in visual communication and recommend improvements.
Project & Workflow Management
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and milestones between stakeholders.
- Track project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain structured documentation including briefs, feedback logs, approvals, and asset records.
- Support smooth handovers between strategy, design, and production teams.
Creative Communication
- Assist in preparing creative briefs, presentations, and review decks.
- Facilitate clear discussions between designers, account managers, and clients.
- Help align creative execution with business goals and marketing strategy.
Quality & Execution Support
- Coordinate with printers, vendors, and digital teams when required.
- Review final artwork for technical accuracy before production or launch.
- Support post-launch evaluations and feedback loops.
Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of branding, visual design, and creative workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Familiarity with digital formats, print production, and asset management.
- Basic understanding of branding systems and identity guidelines.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a creative agency, design studio, or brand team.
- Experience coordinating between clients and creative teams is essential.
